While going through some things online, I saw that he had passed. I didn’t want to approach it here as I didn’t know how many people knew who Ray was and dont want to get into his personal life. I hope his family is doing alright. I know that he was in the middle of doing what he loved when he passed.
I first met Ray on RD years ago when I was a mod there. Throughout the years we have always ribbed each other and had light hearted disagreements. In truth we were always good natured and friendly. We said if we were in the same city, a pint of beer, comparing stature, ribbing each other and a coin flip to see who’s getting the girl would be our thing.
I only wish others knew of him outside of just a person on a forum. It would have surprised you to know who he was, but in a good way. Not my story to tell.
