As soon as leena stepped out of her office building, she felt a sense of unease wash over her. She quickened her pace, glancing over her shoulder, but there was no one there. She shrugged it off, thinking it was just her imagination playing tricks on her.
But as she walked down the street, the feeling of being watched only intensified. She could sense eyes on her, boring into her skin, and her heart raced with fear. She tried to shake off the feeling, but it only seemed to grow stronger.
Suddenly, a black van screeched to a halt beside her, and a man jumped out, grabbing her before she could react. He dragged her into the van, slamming the door shut behind her.
leena struggled and kicked, but the man was too strong. He held her down, his eyes wild and unhinged. “You’re my gift from God,” he hissed, his breath hot in her face. “I can’t let you go.”
leena’s mind raced as the man drove her further and further away from the city. She had no idea where she was or where he was taking her. She tried to remember everything about him, hoping to use it to her advantage later.
