Let me bump this post a bit more to the forefront.
To all the merry readers out there, authors cherish feedback, if you comment or react to a story that you enjoyed it is so much more likely that the author writes more. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that nobody reads your stories.
I write stories for my own satisfaction, but absolutely love to hear from others what they think about it. “This story stinks” is an opinion but useless as feedback “This story stinks because xyz” is something I value, as it allows me to grow, and get better. But the usual crickets heard here, is only leaving me with the question, did anybody even read this.
So you see dear reader, it’s in your own hands if you find here a vibrant living story section, or a dessert with the occasional offering.
Sorry for hijacking this thread for my rant.
