I went with no changes, simply because I don’t think it’s the readers job to determine the author’s style. As a reader I can express what works for me and what doesn’t, should you take note of that? Well perhaps, but only as far as gauging if your intention matched the perceived impact. To use a picture of the controller, if he his whipping her tits and the reader is annoyed by the bloody welts on her stomach, somebody’s aim is off.
Physical torture, is something that doesn’t float my boat, you do it rather skillfully and I enjoy your stories. Could there be occasionally more rape occur on screen, likely yes, but I find myself not going into as much detail any longer. The mechanics of copulation are somewhat repetitive.

I did not read the poll rules correctly. I would have casted two votes: I would prefer more details about both the rapes and the tortures, but I admit to desiring milder tortures… not so much cutting or flaying or burning or snuffing, more caning and electro and breath “play” which the victim survives. I enjoy the descriptions of the Controller’s feeling of dominance and the terror of his victims. Well done, SD!

And well done with the gratuitous mention of Taylor S, because no one would ever think about her at the same moment as the topics you enjoy writing about.

Wow! I never supposed I would receive such kind and thoughtful replies. Thank you everybody. Kink is such a subjective thing. I believe a writer (or a visual artist) has to be careful not to be TOO specific with what is portrayed.

I guess I ‘stray from the center’ only rarely when I have the privilege of sharing my own dark, twisted fantasies. If I can allow the Reader to fill in a detail here or there or allow that same Reader to imagine what happened prior and what will happen in future with a victim, well…maybe we all win.

I would say more torture in your rapings, but rape is torture. If I have to choose, I choose more torture. Spend time describing in detail. Violence, PLEASE.
