Well, I’m a bit late in the “party”.
In light of this thread, I went over my most recent stories and did remove a couple of pics. In “Snowlight In Vermount”, I researched the picture on image google and found she was a 16-year-old model who was posing for Life magazine in 1949. I can’t use that pic even though she’s fully clothed. Just let me know if there’s more leeway with clothed pictures since this is what I almost always use in my stories.
In The Last Command, I removed the pics for Ann. This is actress Margaret O’Brian who starred at 12 in The Little Women in 1949. I just wasn’t sure whether that picture was in the clear or not (unable to find the year it was taken).
And last, one example of a picture where the model looks like she could be 16-17, but this is clearly not the case since the actress is well known and famous for looking incredibly young. Emma Watson at 28 when she played Meg March in Little Women, and this makes the picture controversial because in the famous story, Meg the elder sister is 16 in 1861. In other words, Emma Watson is portraying a 16-year-old girl, and she does it amazingly well. I know this first-hand since my own wife looked this young at 28 (and I got sometimes stared at in restaurants although we’re just 4 years apart). I’ve removed this picture as well since it is depicting a minor person.
