This is a fantasy rape story. Actual felony rape will put you in prison for a good many years in which you may be raped yourself. The tags represent what will happen as other parts are shared.
Dana and Rachel are lost. The two college seniors were hiking on the Cascade Mountains when they suspected that they were being followed by a lone male hiker and they took an unmarked trail off of the one they were on. Feeling that enough time has passed so that the lone male hiker would be beyond where they got off, the two college friends backtracked their steps. Only to get lost.
Dana is a Black Democrat Congressional aide who has plans to continue in the Democrat legal views. Her best friend is a white Congressional aide who works in the same office as she does. Even though Dana is a bi-sexual, she does not agree with the religious views of Rachel, But the party affiliation views of Rachel are very close to hers.
The situation is becoming tense for the two 22-year-old, as the sun is getting behind the mountains making it cooler than the women are prepared for since Rachel has short jeans and loose fitting buttoned blouse, while Dara has dark brown leggings and a loose tee shirt. To top it off Rachel first heard the howls of a nearby wolf pack, but exactly how close she did not know. Their decision is to follow the trail they’re on downward from the mountain in hopes to come across a highway.
As the shadows became longer the need for some kind of cover and protection became more necessary as both girls could tell that the wolfs are closer. Rachel quietly prayed for their rescue when Dana seen smoke from a depression below them. “There! Maybe its a cabin or something that we can hide in! I don’t want to think what will happen if the wolfs find us first!” Dana frantically cried.
The smoke came from a wooden A-frame cabin with a large pick-up truck in the driveway. Both girls ran towards the cabin with three wolfs now behind them. Fortunately, the owner of the cabin heard the wolfs and came out with his rifle. The loud crack of the rifle being fired scared both girls, but it also scared the three wolfs into submission as they ran off. The cabin’s owner ran to the girls and assured them that they are okay. “Let’s get you in the cabin. Old Black Shadow and his pack will surely return and you two will not have a chance against him!”
Dana did not say anything to this white man with a high-powered rifle, but Rachel recognized the rescuer. “Your Richard Beck! I see your novels of living off the land. Who is Old Black Shadow?” Rick smiled. It’s nice to be recognized by complete strangers. He wrote five very long novels about fictional people who lived in the wilderness as he lived in seclusion, “Old Black Shadow is the Alpha Male of a pack of twenty or so wolfs. He’s a very intelligent canine and one that demands respect. If his pack got to you before you got here, then I can assure you that death would have been quick and there would be very little if anything be left of you. However, his pack usually ignore humans. How did you get here in the first place?”
Rick listened as the women followed him into his cabin. Rachel told him everything that led them to the cabin. Rick pointed to his many handguns that were shelved in an open weapons safe. “That is why when I go out into the National Park that I carry one of these for my protection. Sometimes when one does not carry one then they are asking for trouble.” Dana spoke in a somewhat angry tone, “National Parks and State Parks do not permit handguns whether they are concealed or not. Rick nodded his head, “True. But, criminals know that as well and they do not give a shit about those laws. It only means to them that they can carry a handgun and use it on the guests who follow the laws. It’s better for someone who knows how to use a handgun to defend themselves, other than being robbed, raped, or even killed by an armed criminal.”
Rachel knew that her friend is trying to get into an argument about gun control, and since she did not want to cause a situation in where they may be told to leave … she asked, “Do you have another career that you do, or are you surviving on your book sales?” He offered the two women to sit down, as he did to light his pipe. “My late wife and I worked together when I started writing books and I was a meat cutter for a national grocery store. After she died, I fought my grief and anger by putting my emotions in the books. Ten novels plus one more being published by years end, plus three movies based on my books is giving me a living income for life. What do you two do?”
Dana spoke in a still unfriendly tone, “We’re both studying law and both of us are legal clerks for US Senator McKnaw.” Rick gave her a disgusted look, “Marion A. McKnaw?” Rachel showed excitement, “You know Senator McKnaw?”
Rick’s tone is one of disgust, “Yes. Once we were good friends. But later, much later I had no reason to even think of the asshole.” Dana is getting tired of the putting down of her boss. “I’m sure that we would love to hear your story, but will you give us a ride back to the park?” Richard looked at his watch and shook his head, “Long before we get there the gates will be closed to everything but emergency vehicles. I can contact the Forest Rangers on Ham radio and let them know that you two are safe. In the meantime, you are welcome to my guest room. Or, if you prefer you can stay in the barn. It will give you protection from the cold and Black Shadow.”
Rachel spoke up, “We’ll take the guest room! Thanks.” Richard got up off of the recliner, “I’ll call the ranger, then I will make you some dinner. What are your names?” Dana told him in a low tone and asked him where the restroom is at. Both went their separate ways.
