Ella Hi everyone. I just found that RC closed. Can any of you tell me why? Are any of the people from there here on this site?

I have bad news for them. I just found out that Ray died yesterday. I learned about RC closing when I went to log in to tell them.

I’d appreciate any help any of you can give me. Thank you.

Hi Ella,

That is terrible news to hear, but thank you for passing the information along. There are quite a few people from RC here (including us admins) that joined up when RC went under. As to why it went under - no clear answer but the admins Ray and Addie had not been around for quite some time, and it looked like the site got hijacked or something at the end. The address for the site started to redirect to an Italian cell phone company and then just stopped working at all. This happened many months ago.

There are quite a few members here that had been left wondering what happened to Ray and Addie; it’s nice to hear something even if it’s not good news 😥

I never knew Addie, but Ray and I emailed pretty regularly for a while. We lost touch in the last few years.

Man, this sucks. I know who he actually was, so I can tell you for certain that he was a really great guy. One of the good ones. I’m going to miss him.

I’d love it if any of you from RC would drop me a note. This thing about Ray is making me feel nostalgic and a little homesick.

That’s definitely sad news. I interacted with Ray a lot on RD and RC and he was always super nice and respectful. RIP.

Thanks for letting us know. I never knew Ray; he had already gone missing when I joined RC in June 2021. I never knew him, but did see his avatar (a happy masked man restraining a terrified blonde captive) when I read threads about the rules of RapeCage.

My sincere condolences, Ella.

Ray was one of the best, he was so supporetive as I found my way in the RC community and just made me feel safe and welcome there. I hope he knew how much he was valued and loved by us all.
