Forgetting the safeword.
So many ways we can play this, but I’m thinking it’s a dominatrix experiencing being a sub for the first time and not paying attention to the safeword because “she can take what she dishes out”. She also didn’t bother to state her limits.
There’s an initial panic when she realizes the session found her limit for the first time and she couldn’t remember the safeword. But she manages to keep it together. Her Dom pushes her again, and she starts uttering “no” for the first time. Then again, and again, and again. She’s struggling frantically and cussing at her Dom to stop, explaining she had forgotten the safeword, but he didn’t care.
After days of abuse and the Dom with no intention of ever releasing her, she remembers the safeword at long last, and the Dom instantly releases her and breaks out of character, showing her concern. That’s the worst part - the man was no rapist, he was simply in character, this was her own fault.
When asked when he was planning to release her if she had never said her safeword, his reply sent chills down her spine…
“Never.”
