Well hello again. You are correct, the 'modifications' did indeed remove the objectionable content. I'm sorry you don't understand why something that is against the rules has been removed and now you can't see it....let me explain:
When you enter a strangers house for the first time, people are normally on their best behavior. You don't go rummaging though the cabinets, light up a smoke etc... without first asking if it's alright. (This is referring to registering on a new forum and reading the rules)
Following this, it would probably be a bad idea to drop trou' and take a big shit in the middle of the living room floor, right? Just common courtesy. I would think the homeowner would tell this person that shitting on the living room floor is not allowed and would probably be inclined to clean it up, rather than leaving said poo on the floor to stink up the joint. (This is referring to 'modifying' the thread and removing the objectionable content.)
Following your logic, I would have to leave the shit on the floor to prove to anyone else who came to the house afterward that this person did indeed shit on my floor. Eventually, with enough visitors....my entire house would be full of poo. I myself feel this is unacceptable.
So - in summary, behave here as if you were a guest in someone's home. Be courteous and polite to others, follow the rules and be aware the homeowners clean up after their guests.
