TheYellowKnight I’ve had the same thought on comments, YK, in terms of wishing they weren’t interleaved in the story, otoh, it does let future readers get the comments in the context of how much the commenter had read at the time they made it.
As far as staying on top of the pile, that cuts two ways. If you’re posting a story I’ve already read, and you’re bumping it every day adding another chapter I’ve already read, I don’t know it when you finally add new content, so I don’t go in to check. That’s one of the things I wonder, how to best let people know there’s new material added to a serial, that it’s not just being bumped by comments.
